Commercial Aluminum Flagpoles

Our cone tapered ground set aluminum flagpoles are precision fabricated from new, 6063-T6 tubing utilizing the industry's most sophisticated, state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.  The conical portion tapers approximately 1" in every 5.5 feet.  Poles with overall lengths of less than 38'6" are shipped in one piece.  Longer lengths are shipped in sections and will be factory fitted with a self-aligning sleeve which requires no field welding.  Upon proper assembly a hair-line joint will occur.

All poles are double spiral wrapped with protective paper and shipped in a hard fiber tube.  "Warning" - The flagpole shaft will stain if allowed to remain in contact with wet or damp wrappings.  If there is any sign that the shaft or its shipping tube has come in contact with water during shipment, remove it from the tube and unwrap immediately.  IF the shaft is to be stored outdoors, it must be stored unwrapped, out of the tube, and off the ground.  If the shaft is to be stored indoors, it may be left in the wrappings and the tube, provided that it shows no sign of having been exposed to moisture, and that it will not be exposed to moisture during storage.

All foundation dimensions listed on this site are intended for general guidelines only in good, firm, dry soil.  It is recommended to consult an engineer for specific foundation dimensions suited to your exact location.  "Warning" - Extreme care must be exercised when installing flagpoles near overhead power lines or when digging in the vicinity of buried cable or piping.  Contact your local authorities before any digging.

Standard Finishes
All flagpole shafts are highly polished with fine grain aluminum oxide cloth resulting in a high quality, deep satun lustre finish.  This finish represents the ultimate in architectural finishes for aluminum flagpoles.  The elegant, soft sheen remains maintenance free.  In addition to satin, the following anodized finishes are available as standard colors: clear, light bronze #311, medium bronze #312, dark bronze #313 & black #335.  Note: of the three bronze finishes, dark bronze #313 is supplied unless otherwise specified

Outdoor Commercial Fiberglass Flagpoles

Fiberglass has many features.  Fiberglass laminate tensile strength exceeds 40,000 psi.  Provides long lasting beauty because the hard, glossy polyester surface resists soiling, scratching and will not rust or corrode.  Fiberglass poles are the least expensive way to obtain a traditional white pole.  Many color options are available including a bronze finish.  Classic design has double taper which duplicates traditional flagpole style.  Upper half tapers .150" per Ft.; lower half tapers at .050" per Ft.  Since fiberglass is a non-conductor, no grounding is required; thus installation is easy and inexpensive.  Our flagpoles are manufactured from a custom formulated unidirectional fiberglass roving and polyester resin.  This special roving allows us to fabricate more than 75% of the reinforcing glass fiber vertically to maximize rigidity and axial strength.  FRP poles depend on filament winding which emphasizes hoop strength rather than axial strength.  Others use fiberglass cloth which is inherently weaker than roving.  The extremely hard, glossy finish of our poles is a high build, modified polyester surface which provides unequalled beauty and maximum durability.  The pole and its surface are a totally bonded polyester medium which virtually eliminates any possibility of peeling or separation.
